(You could even make money at this!)

Save Money And Gas With Top Secret Recipes!

Everyone needs to save money these days, especially with the rising cost of gas. I don't know what the cost of gas is where you live, but I paid $4.25 today for a gallon of gas. My husband and I have had to cut down significantly on our trips to the stores, and yes, even restaurants!

The average family usually eats out 1-3 times a week. With the rising cost of fuel, eating out is getting more and more expensive!

Cutting down on our dining out is killing my husband. He just loves to eat out, and have a good meal. So needless to say, I've had to improvise on how to save money, and gas!

I found this e-book full of all the popular restaurant recipes. They are awesome! These recipes are so close you can't even tell the difference, between my meals and the restaurants! (unless of course, I burn something!)

That is a big pat on my back from my husband, since he really didn't like my cooking. He usually does most of it in our household!

Go ahead and check it out, you will be thanking me after you try it! Don't be afraid to click this link: Top Secret Recipes will save you money, make you popular at your parties, and probably make you some money too, if you do it right!

KFC Original Recipe Chicken-Copy Cat Recipe

Ok guys, I took your suggestion and here is one of the recipes from the book!

Ingredients

2-3 pounds of chicken pieces

1 quart Water

3 tablespoons Salt (used for soaking)

1 cup milk

1 egg beaten

2 cups flour

1 teaspoon Accent (MSG)

1 tablespoon salt (for recipe)

1 teaspoon black pepper

Soybean Oil (do not substitute) for frying

Instructions

Place chicken into large bowl of salted water and allow to soak for approximately 30 minutes.

Beat egg and mix with milk in a bowl. Add and mix flour, Accent, salt, and pepper in a separate bowl.

Preheat deep fryer to 350F, or place 3/4 inch oil in a skillet set on medium.

Remove and dry chicken using paper towels.

Place in flour mixture, place in milk/eggs mixture, and then back into flour mixture. Do this one piece at a time making sure that each piece is covered completely during each step.

KFC uses pressure cookers to fry chicken, which I don't recommend you do at home. If you are using a deep fryer, cook a few pieces at a time for about 15 to 20 minutes, turning occasionally. Similarly, if pan frying, cook covered, turning occasionally for about 25 - 30 minutes.

Make sure you check the middle of the largest chicken piece cooked to check for doneness. (No pink)

When done, allow chicken pieces drain on paper towels.

I loved fried chicken and I have tried several recipes that are similar to the KFC original recipe, or so the recipes said :). I actually think home fried chicken tastes much better than the massed produced chicken from a fast food place, but that is just me. Thanks for the interesting hub.

Oh my the Colonel fooled us all these years.

No herbs and spices, only a neurotoxin flavor enhancer that has been tied to obesity.
